We spoke to a number of our friendly Cartmel residents about their plans for this winter break. Here is what they said:

Matty Logan:
What are you up to over this winter break?
“Nothing much really, just a quiet Christmas at home. But im coming back up here to Lancaster for New Years!”
Anything in particular you are wanting for Christmas?
“Money to pay of my loan”

Sam Fitton:
What are you up to over this winter break?
“Going out with my family, im looking forward to seeing my little brother. Christmas is always good because of him, he’s at the age when its still very magical which is awesome. He wants a Cartmel hoody off me this year which is nice.”
Anything in particular you are wanting for Christmas?
“Ah, that depends on what Santa brings. I’ve got most of what I want… his sleigh better be heavy though, its all about my brother and no doubt he’s got a list.”

Sarah Williamson:
What are you up to over this winter break?
“I’m going back to America to spend it with my family”

“Some Ugg boots”

Helen Swanstonia:
What are you up to over this winter break?
“Bra fitting! Working at Debenhams and on Christmas day eating and watching shite TV”

“HAIRSPRAY DVD!!! Oh yeah baby give me some of that spray”

“Why aint I doing my F-ing essay!”

“having a well earnt rest from doing all these bloody essays:)”
